The apple didn’t fall too far from the tree with this one. Colin Hanks is the son of two-time Oscar winning actor, Tom Hanks. Just because his dad is successful in showbiz doesn’t mean Colin needs any though. He studied theatre at Loyola Marymount University in California. In addition to acting, oColin also plays bass guitar for his hip-hop band, The Underlords.
Was named one of the 25 Hottest Bachelors by People Magazine (2003)
Not only is Colin Hanks talented but he's also a looker. Colin was named one the 25 Hottest Bachelors by People Magazine in 2003 alongside Prince William and Ashton Kutcher. In the issue Colin describes his dream girl "She has to be funny and cool and not afraid of being a dork, because I'm a huge dork".
Colin Hanks has appeared in The OC and in Orange County (The Movie)
Colin Hanks appeared in both the series The O.C as Grady Bridges and in the movie Orange County as Shaun Brumder. He appeared in Orange County with John Lithgow who interestingly enough, went on to play the main antagonist Trinity in Dexter series 4. Colin went on to play the main antagonist Travis Marshall in Dexter series 6. How ironic.
