By Thirosha PillayCrime-busting detectives Danny, Chin, Kono and McGarett are back for a much anticipated second season of the action-packed show Hawaii Five-O on Thursday 9 August at 20:30 on M-Net.
This season is set to be even more entertaining than the last with a recurring appearance by Terry O’Quinn (John Locke from Lost). He stars as Leutenant Commander Joe White, Steve McGarrett’s mentor and Navy SEAL instructor.
In the premiere episode McGarrett finds himself in prison after being framed for the murder of Governor Pat by criminal mastermind Wo Fat. O’Quinn travels to Hawaii to help acquit Steve, but unbeknown to the Five-O team he has deep dark secrets of his own.
Another former Lost cast member to look out for on DStv is Naveen Andrews (Sayid Jarrah), who stars as the evil Lord Akbari in Sinbad which premiers on M-Net on Tuesday 7 August.
Sinbad accidentally kills Akbari’s son and Akbari sets out to avenge his son’s death and settle the blood debt.
