Jason Butler Harner

Character: Deputy Warden E.B. Tiller

Jason Butler Harner is best known for his portrayal of "Gordon Northcott" in Clint Eastwood's OscarĀ®-nominated film Changeling opposite Angelina Jolie. Equally successful on stage, he recently completed a sold-out run of Through a Glass Darkly, an adaptation of the Ingmar Bergman film, alongside Carey Mulligan for the Atlantic Theater Company.

Butler Harner made his Broadway debut in Tom Stoppard's trilogy, The Coast of Utopia, which won seven Tony Awards -- the most for any play in Broadway history. He won a 2005 Obie Award for his portrayal of "Tesman" in Hedda Gabler at New York Theatre Workshop. That same year he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for The Paris Letter with Ron Rifkin.
His extensive theater credits include The Glass Menagerie with Sally Field at the Kennedy Center, The Cherry Orchard with Annette Bening and Alfred Molina at the Mark Taper Forum and Lanford Wilson's Serenading Louie at London's Donmar Warehouse.

Born in Elmira, NY, and raised in Alexandria, VA, Butler Harner received a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Graduate Acting Program. His television work includes John Adams, The Good Wife, Law & Order, Chase, Fringe and C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation. He recently completed work on Aaron Sorkin's More As The Story Develops. In film, Butler Harner will be seen next in the indie drama The Green, set for theatrical release in 2011. He also appeared in Robert De Niro's The Good Shepherd, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, the comedy The Extra Man with Kevin Kline, and the 2011 Sundance entry Letters From The Big Man co-starring Lily Rabe.
