A drama about a brilliant, charismatic surgeon whose life changes forever when his deceased ex-wife begins teaching him the meaning of life from the "hereafter."
Michael Holt is an exceptional doctor who lives a materialistic life of luxury thanks to his work-obsessed career and powerful and wealthy patients; however, Michael's ordered world is rocked when his ex-wife, Anna, an idealistic free-clinic doctor and the love of his life, mysteriously appears to him. In an attempt to go back to his "normal" life, Michael visits Anton, a carpenter who moonlights as a Shaman to try and extract Anna's spirit from his body, but when Anna reappears and asks Michael to go to her clinic to help keep it running, he realizes she needs him more now then ever.
After seeing the Clinic's disarrayed staff trying to carry on Anna's work with the underprivileged, he feels responsible to step in and take over where she left off. Curious about Michael's sudden change in behaviour is his efficient assistant, Rita, who works tirelessly to facilitate his schedule in order to accommodate his added responsibilities. Touched by those in need and accepting of Anna's compassionate "presence," Michael's attitude toward serving the rich and poor is turned upside down, and he begins to see that there's room in his life for everyone.

Margo Martindale
Margo Martindale is an acclaimed character actress, having appeared in more than 60 motion pictures in addition to many memorable television roles. She began her career on the New York stage, creating the iconic role of Truvy in the original production of Steel Magnolias and earned a Tony Award nomination for her role in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
Her feature film credits include Million Dollar Baby, Dead Man Walking, Nobody's Fool, Lorenzo's Oil, The Hours, Practical Magic, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and Secretariat, among many others.
On television, she has had roles on several critically acclaimed shows including Medium, Dexter, The Riches, Hung and Justified, for which she won a Critics Choice Award.
A native of Texas, Margo now lives in New York City with her husband. Her birth date is July 18.
Rachelle Lefevre
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Rachelle Lefevre moved to Los Angeles after landing the female lead in the comedy series, Life on a Stick. Her additional television credits include Swingtown, on the Network, Off the Map and Boston Legal.
Lefevre has also starred in the mini-series The Summit.
Lefevre's feature film credits include Twilight, New Moon, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Casino Jack, Fugitive Pieces, The Caller, Sarila, Omerta, American Summer and Barney's Version, which was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
An avid animal rights activist, Lefevre is the national spokesperson for the Best Friends Animal Society and their Puppies Aren't Products campaign that educates and encourages people to adopt rather then shop for a pet. She is also passionately involved with the literacy organization, School on Wheels, and is an Ambassador for the Cure with The Susan G Komen Foundation.
She enjoys rock climbing, horseback riding and scuba diving. In her free time, she loves to travel. Her birthday is February 1.
Jennifer Ehle
Jennifer Ehle is an award-winning stage and screen actress. She has won two Tony Awards, the first for the Broadway revival of Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing, and the second for her portrayal of three characters in Stoppard's The Coast of Utopia.
She earned a BAFTA award for her performance in the television adaptation of Jane Austen's classic Pride and Prejudice. She was nominated for a second BAFTA for her performance in Wilde and received wide critical acclaim for her role in the film Sunshine.
Most recently, Ehle was in the Academy Award-winning feature film, The King's Speech as Myrtle Logue, the wife of King George VI's speech therapist. Her additional film credits include Contagion, Pride and Glory and The Ides of March, among others.
The daughter of actress Rosemary Harris and novelist John Ehle, Jennifer was raised primarily in North Carolina but also spent time in London and New York.
